Minimum Qualification Requirement:
National Diploma in Information Technology or similar qualification

Job Requirements:
PHP, XHTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript experience essential. Search Engine Optimisation, Mobile knowledge and Photoshop experience advantageous. Only self starters and motivated individuals to maintain exceptionally high standards need apply. Minimum 3 – 5 years experience.

Salary: 10k+

Working Hours: 8 – 5pm Monday – Friday.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

1. Individual Project Management – start to finish.

2. Provide conceptual input and remain in touch with current trends and technologies.

3. Daily updates of information to the websites, websites maintenance, content management and management of databases.

4. Management of mailer systems and databases.

5. Domain maintenance for the group.

6. Create and maintain databases (MySQL).

7. Use of SQL scripts to manipulate data.

8. Transforming an image into web page using Photoshop/Dreamweaver.

9. Assist in elaboration and maintenance of a new online tracking system for all websites, marketing/adverts and reports on online traffics and knowledge database on traffic retention and campaign analysis.

10. Liaison with colleagues for other specific coding.

11. Testing of development.

12. Popular CMS frameworks knowledge essential. WordPress is a definite.

We were approached by the ever innovative Fairview Wines to create a campaign to start and keep a communication channel open with their Tasting room visitors. We came up with a SMS Short Code monthly draw where visitors can stand the chance of winning a case of wine and also have the ability to both stay in touch with the brand and abreast of news, events and happenings on the farm. Obviously one of the most important factors when running a QR code campaign is that the website you send them to is Mobi-Friendly. With the recent launch of the new Avondale website we were asked to make sure that the user experience on a mobile device was simple, user friendly and still keep the beautiful new creative and marketing strategy.
