WordPress as a CMS
We here at kri8it have recently started using the popular blogging platform WordPress, as a Content Management System. If you did not know already, kri8it has its own, custom written CMS that has been used for many of our projects. Recently however we have come across more clients that need a intermediate solution between a static site, and a dynamic database driven one. WordPress has turned out to be the perfect solution.
Creating a dynamic and interactive website has become increasingly more important as the web and its technologies develop. Wether you are working on a simple portfolio site or an extensive online application, being adept at using one of the many compact Javascript libraries is a must! The introduction and growth of AJAX alone has changed the way projects are developed for the internet.
Keeping the above in mind, kri8it has familiarized and fallen in love with the MooTools Javascript framework. MooTools is a compact, modular, Object-Oriented JavaScript framework designed for the intermediate to advanced JavaScript developer. It allows you to write powerful, flexible, and cross-browser code with its elegant and well documented API. By using the MooTools framework, we have been able to deliver attractive, intuitive user interfaces and complex web-based applications.
